Residents of Nandarkha village in Godhra taluka of Panchmahal district have alleged that 12 children in their village had fallen gravely ill because of a gas leakage from Kusha Chemical Company located near the village.
An official complaint was registered by Surendrasinh Parmar, a laborer residing in the same village to the police.
The complaint noted that the children faced problem breathing, started vomiting and were taken to the Godhra civil hospital after there was a gas leak from Kusha Chemical Company on Wednesday. The villagers rushed to protest at the plant after the children had fallen ill.
