A 16-year-old boy left his house after his father changed the residence when he learnt about his son’s crush on a 24-year-old woman who was their neighbour. The boy is a class 12 student studying at a local school. He returned to his home after remaining absent for two days.
When his father couldn’t find him, he approached Sama police station late on Monday. He had left the house somewhere between Sunday midnight and Monday morning leaving behind a letter. In which he had asked his parents not to search for him or ask about his whereabouts.
Adding to that, his father had changed his house address to New Sama Road a month ago after learning about his son’s unrequited love for the elderly woman. He went into depression when his father changed the house.
He returned home on Tuesday saying that he felt sorry to have left the house in an abrupt manner.
Cops haven’t questioned him yet about how and where he spent his two days as he is still recovering. They are likely to take his statement on Wednesday.
