Hundreds of Nursing Brothers and Sisters in a number of district and state health centers are vaccinating thousands of people every day in ensuring public health protection.
Jagruti Katara and Nishant Patel are doing a unique service as a nursing sister and brother (male nurse) at Kelanpur Primary Health Center (PHC) of Vadodara District. Both are putting their efforts to protect people against coronavirus and vaccinate people with Covishield vaccine.
Jagruti has so far vaccinated more than 2,000 people to protect them from Coronavirus. In medical language she has done about 20 sessions, one session means vaccinating 100 people.
Nishant Patel is also putting his efforts to vaccinate people everyday and till date gave vaccine to nearly 900 plus people.
Nishant Patel said that the vaccine has been given continuously for the last one and a half months. They gave the vaccine shot with such ateady hands that people didn’t feel the needle at all.
Medical Officer Dr. Jiten Rana said that the credit for the success of vaccination in their PHC goes to these selfless workers.
