2 youths nabbed with 39 lakhs hidden inside a two-wheeler

As Vadodara District Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat, and Municipal Elections will be held on Sunday, the police have intensified its checking to keep a tab on the illegal activities during this time. During the night patrolling Fatehgunj police stopped a two-wheeler and during the check found 39 lakh cash kept inside the two-wheelers.

While questioning they are unable to give a satisfactory answer about the Rs 39 lakh cash, police took them to the police station and started interrogation. Police have registered the case and are further investigating.

According to the information received from the Fatehgunj police station, Anklesh Jayantibhai Patel and Aryan Dharmendrabhai Patel were among the two youths arrested with the cash. There might be a possibility that the cash seized late at night is being taken for the district panchayat, taluka panchayat, and municipal elections.
