21-year-old Payal Palkar and her mother, 56-year-old Jayshree Sunil More, were found murdered in the terrace of their home late last night. Payal’s one and a half-year-old son was a witness to the horrible crime.
Payal was visiting her mother in Sayajipura on Ajwa road from her in-laws’ place and the two were sleeping on the terrace. Her brother was sleeping in the house itself. Since he suffers from diabetes, he was a bit weak.
The murderer attacked the mother first and that’s when Payal started screaming. Her brother couldn’t get up but the neighbors got up and raised an outcry, but Payal also fell victim to the murderer by then. The murder left the scene and left a sickle that he had used to attack both the women there.
The police are investigating the angle that Payal’s ex-boyfriend might have committed this crime.
