25-year-old theatre artist Prachi Mourya was found dead near Reliance Fresh on OP Road.
The prima facie investigation conducted by the crime branch of Vadodara police under DCP Crime Jaydeepsinh Jadeja found that she is a member of Applause Vadodara – Theatre and Art and was returning home after performing at a theatre show at ONGC Khambhat.
It has been found that the murder happened late at night between 1:30am and 2:30 am and she was strangled to death. Her friend who dropped her home is being questioned by the police.
