The district team had given pre-vaccination training to about 130 government doctors of various branches.
A survey was conducted by 1,310 teams in the rural area of Vadodara. This survey was a part of pre-preparation for covid vaccination, to register the names during the last four days as per the prescribed criteria. People who are over 50 years of age and under 50 years of age but suffering from serious diseases like cancer, heart disease (co-morbid) were registered during the above days in the polling station areas, as was instructed by the government of India.
A total of 2,58,907 people over the age of 50 were registered during the survey. Among them 1,23,849 were men and 1,35,058 were women as informed by Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat.
A total of 3,584 people under the age of 50 with co-morbidities were registered, including 1,959 males and 1,625 females. Thus, a total of 2,62,491 people in both categories were registered in the rural areas of the district for vaccination.
During the two days, the state team provided technical and medical training to about 30 senior officers of the district health system. They were trained as master trainers. The training, which will continue on Tuesday. It is being imparted to taluka health officials, medical officers, and AYUSH / RBS doctors.
