The warden of the Jivraj Mehta Chhatrayal, Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara, has tested positive, followed by Covid testing of roughly 35 students. According to data by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, 281 new cases in the city area have got registered in the last 36 hours. As a result, there have been 73,692 corona cases reported. A total of 56 patients got released from the hospital. So far, a total of 72,122 patients got released from the hospital.
On Friday, the western zone of Vadodara city reported the maximum number of 78 cases.

On Friday, three toddlers under the age of one and eight youngsters under the age of 10 were among the positive cases. Spandan School for the Mentally Challenged, on the other hand, planned a vaccination program for specially-abled students aged 15 to 18 years old today. In total, six organizations, including Spandan school, organized the vaccination program, and more than 50 people received their first dose of vaccine.
