3 missing girls from Vadodara found begging in Mumbai

Last month, three minor girls, residing in Parshuram Bhatta, had gone missing from Vadodara. After being found begging in Mumbai, the girls have been safely brought back home by cops on Sunday.

The minor girls were last seen entering the Vadodara Railway Station from platform 6 on November 9, 2019. The parents had then approached the police on the said date after the girls did not return home.

The girls contributed to the family’s income by selling key chains on roadside in the western part of the city. However, on the evening of Nov 9, the girls accidentally boarded a Mumbai Central-bound train and could not get off. The girls fell asleep and woke up next morning at Mumbai Central railway station.

The parents of the minors said that they had distant relatives in Mumbai and tried tracing the girls at their level. The same relatives recently saw the girls begging at the Charni Road Railway Station in Mumbai to fend for themselves.

The girls were brought back by police and their parents on Sunday.
