33-year-old Hetaxi Patel was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her home on Vadsar Road on Monday morning around 11:30 am.
Her father-in-law Pravin found her hanging from the fan when he reached home from work and called the police. At first when Hetaxi didn’t open the house, Pravin broke open the door and found Patel hanging from the fan in the bedroom.
Hetaxi used to live in the apartment with her 5-year-old son and father-in-law. Her husband Kuldeep used to stay in their native village and used to come to see her every week.
The Manjalpur police station has registered a case of accidental death and the reason behind her suicide is still being investigated.
