42nd National Women’s Football Tournament to be held at Statue of Unity

The “Statue of Unity” at Kevadia Colony is one of the leading tourist destinations on the world map today. A sports event is taking shape in the vicinity to see the unity of the whole of India in one place.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Kiritbhai Premjibhai Solanki Member of Parliament Ahmedabad West, the 42nd Senior National Women’s Football Championship is being organized by the Women’s Football Federation of India at the Statue of Unity at Kevadia from 21st to 26th March 2021. Women football teams from 28 states and 8 union territories will be present at the tournament.

The championship will start on 21st March at SRP Parade Ground Kevadia by Dr. Kiritbhai Solanki Protom Speaker of the Lok Sabha. On this occasion Shabdsharan Tadvi former Minister Government of Gujarat, Dr. Maheshbhai Nayak DIG Arms Unit Vadodara, District Collector Narmada, District Superintendent of Police Narmada, Ghanshyam Patel District BJP President Narmada District will remain present at the inauguration.

Gujarat Women’s Football Association President Arun Kumar Sadhu, General Secretary Tinakrishna Das is handling the entire tournament.
