Religious organisations are now coming forward and extending their help to the local administration in fight against the corona pandemic. A 75-bed Covid Care Centre was inagurated inside Vrajdham Adhyatmik Sankul in Manjalpur area to provide primary treatment to the patients.
The facility was inagurated by the BJP State President C.R. Patil and Vaishnavacharya Vrajrajkumarji. The Covid Care Centre has 75 beds facility and provide primary treatment to the patients. If need arises the facility will increase to 100 beds.
“The facility is raised for the home quarantine patients who visit hospitals in search of beds and for those who don’t have enough space at home for isolation. Here they can get primary treatment and we provide one doctor, two nurses and help per 10 patients. We will also provide 250 oxygen machines to home quarantine patients all across Gujarat and have kept 25 to 50 such facility for Vadodara. I request everyone to come forward to help and support the government rather than to criticise,” said Vrajrajkumarji.
Gujarat BJP President C.R. Patil also praised the religious groups for their support in this challenging time. About lockdown in Gujarat he said that the government is working tirelessly to raise facilities all across the state. BJP team is also working on to raise covid care centres and target to open around 10,000 such facilities in next 10 days. So he feels that there is no need for lockdown in Gujarat.
Regarding Remdesivir he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a important step to stop the export of the injection. Secondly, if the new production be released soon then the situation will be improved.
For oxygen supply Patil said that the government is working on to provide uninterrupted supply of oxygen to hospitals. Old closed plants are revived and also many social organisations and groups are coming forward to provide oxygen to treatment facilities and patients recovering at home.
