Following the Unlock-4 guidelines of coronavirus, parks and gardens in Vadodara city will reopen from 10th September 2020. The timings will be 6 a.m – 10 a.m in the morning and 4 p.m – 8 p.m in the evening. The entrance to Sayajibaug will be through Gate No. 2 and 4.
However, the Planetarium and Zoo inside the Sayajibaug and Ajwa Garden will be closed and will open later on as per government orders.
The gardens will be sanitized every day to prevent the spread of infection and only those who will wear masks will be allowed inside as per the rules.
People will have to strictly abide by the rules. Nobody is allowed to carry food items other than drinking water bottles. More than two people will not be allowed to sit on benches in the garden. People will not be allowed to walk in a group or meet in crowds.
An appeal has been made by the administration that people below the age of 10 and above 65 should avoid going to the gardens.
Legal actions will be taken against people who will violate the guidelines.
