Cong demanded a withdrawal of Agricultural Bill by raising anti-government slogans in Vadodara

After the approval of agricultural bills by the BJP government at the Center, on Tuesday, Vadodara Youth Congress burnt all the three anti-agriculture bills in protest at the Collectorate and gave a memorandum to the District Collector, with a demand to withdraw the agriculture bill.

Hence the demand for an immediate withdrawal of bills. Youth Congress activists joined the program and raised anti-government slogans at the collectorate.

City Youth Congress President, Ashfaq Malek said that the protest was staged by the Youth Congress in protest of the agriculture bill passed by the BJP government at the Center. The bills are not in the interest of farmers, but to push them back to the brink of death.

On the other hand, City Congress President Prashant Patel and Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Srivastava led an awareness campaign and a survey by Congress Workers at all 34 health centers in Vadodara. They distributed masks as well as Corona-kits at the health center to the people who came there for testing. They also raised awareness about maintaining caution during home quarantine during Corona times.

City Congress President Prashant Patel and Leader of the Opposition Chandrakant Srivastava alleged that the health department in Vadodara is not releasing the exact numbers of Coronavirus cases. After the survey, all the records will be submitted to the corporation.

The cases of Coronavirus in Vadodara city is increasing day by day. Spokesperson Amit Gotikar said that all the Congress members are conducting a survey on the health centers about the visit of positive patients. Following this survey, the real statistics will be out about the exact number of patients in the city. People will not take Coronavirus seriously until they get the right information. Therefore the statistics should be given correctly and now Congress will give the correct figures.
