Thief involved in 18 cases of vehicle theft caught by Police

Vadodara Rural SOG Police has successfully nabbed a habitual bike thief who was involved in 18 cases of vehicle theft. Three bikes have been recovered from him by the police and further investigation is going on in the case.

Based on certain information received by the team of Vadodara Rural SOG Police during investigation nabbed the habitual thief. The team seized three stolen bikes from him and solved the case of bike theft. The information regarding a man, coming to Jarod with a stolen bike was stolen was received by the SOG. The offense regarding this was registered in the Bapod Police Station. Based on that information the police had set a watch and caught him with the bike.

The accused was Vishnu Ratilal Makwana from Paswa village in Savli and currently lives in Tekra Walu Faliyu, Jarod, according to the information revealed by the police. He confessed to stealing this bike from Ajwa Road Shree Hari Township, another one from the refinery’s main gate parking lot as well as from near the ISKCON temple. Police seized three stolen bikes from his possession.

Thus, the SOG Rural Police had succeeded in solved the three bike theft cases registered at Bapod, Jawanagar, and Gotri police stations. It may be noted here that Vishnu Makwana has been booked for 12 bike theft offenses in Vadodara district, six in Vadodara city, and two in Panchmahal and Chhotaudepur districts.
