Trio threatened a woman, robbed jewelry, cash and fled

Hema Patel lives in Padra. She was alone in her house on the farm in the evening and the other members of the household were out for work. Three unknown people took advantage and entered the house. Before she could understand anything they threatened her with a knife-like weapon and robbed her jewelry and cash kept inside the vault worth Rs. 88,500. They later fled from the spot.

Hema Patel was alone at home and she heard about the sound of the vault opening by robbers. She thought her brother-in-law would have opened and she came out from the washroom. Suddenly one of the accused grabbed her hair from behind and put a knife-like weapon on her neck and threatened to kill her. The other two joined him and they fled from there with the cash and jewelry after locking the woman inside the room.

The frightened woman opened the stopper and called her brother in law. They then informed the Police about the incident.

Top police officials along with LCB, SOG, and dog squad reached the spot and registered a case after the complaint by the victim. The team began an investigation to nab the three accused.
