Police took action against 3 hotel managers due to negligency in maintaining records

The Police have issued a notification in all the hotels, lodges, guesthouses to keep the record of the passengers who are taking shelter in these, by using the Pathik Software in the computer at the reception counter. The online registration of the passengers is mandatory. However, the police have arrested three hotel managers for violating the notification by not registering a single passenger online for the past month. But still, some hotels, guest houses, and lodges are showing negligence in registration.

Anti-social elements seek refuge in hotels to escape from the police. SOG Police is constantly working to maintain security and peace in the city and taking measures to ensure the safety of the residents.

The SOG team on Tuesday conducted checking and found negligence by three more managers in the city to maintain the entries. Police checked at the Veronica Hotel, located next to the Himalaya Cancer Hospital on Jetalpur Road, and found the computer kept on the counter had not registered in the software for the last one month. Police registered a case against Hotel Manager Kalpeshbhai Baria under GPA 131 and took legal action.

Police also conducted a check at Bansal Hotel near Lalita Tower in the Alkapuri area. The computer placed at the reception counter of the hotel was found to have not entered data of any customer during the month of December. So the police registered a case against the manager Rajeshbhai Suchak for violating the declaration.

Similarly, the computer of the Sweet Dreams Hotel on the first floor of the Cams Corner building in the Fatehganj area had not registered any customer for the last one month. So the police registered a case against the manager Akbar Ali Nandolia for violating the declaration. Sayajiganj police had started a further investigation in this regard.
