A complaint of cheating has been registered against the store manager of S.K.’s mobile showroom located near Uma Char Rasta in Vadodara city. The store manager sold mobile phones and accessories worth Rs 10.75 lakh without the company’s knowledge and did not deposit the amount in the company account. The Vice-President of the company has lodged a complaint with the Panigate Police Station.
One of the popular mobile store chains in the city S.K. Mobile has nine outlets covering the entire Vadodara. Audit of the shops are done every month and on November 19 last year, Minalbhai Shirsagar, Head of the company’s Account Department, visited the company’s store near Uma Char Rasta. An audit of the stock in the mobile shop revealed that the stock of mobile phones, mobile accessories, and second-hand mobile phones of different companies from the shop was less and all of the items were sold. But the shop manager did not deposit Rs 10,75,694 in the company.
So a complaint was lodged at the Panigate police station against the store manager. The Police registered a case and are investigating further to arrest the accused.
