Ajwa residents raise issue regarding hospital keeping oxygen cylinder near the society gate

Residents of the society at Ajwa road in Vadodara city caused huge uproar late last night over keeping oxygen cylinder near their gate by the hospital.

As per available details, the incident happened at the Care Hospital located on Ajwa Road. The hospital is approved for the treatment of covid patients. The residents of nearby Ambika Darshan Society 2 raised objection over oxygen cylinder kept near their gate by the hospital.

They alleged that 15 days ago they had alerted the management to remove the cylinder from the gate to prevent any contamination.

The administrators had promised the removal in two-three days as well as to take care of proper sanitation. However, the management did not remove the oxygen cylinder and not take any action regarding the contamination. For that they approached them again regarding the same issue.

Residents of the Ambika Darshan Society also alleged that the presence of covid patients in the hospital made it difficult for adults, including children of the society, to get out of the house. People also don’t go for some work due to the water released by the hospital near the gate of the society.

They also alleged that the administration not answer to their queries and threaten them.

The doctor of the Care Hospital said that the residents have made representations to remove the Oxygen Cylinder placed near the gate of the society. But it will take time to lay the oxygen line in the hospital. The society has a reasonable question and they are trying to remove as soon as possible. It is difficult to remove the oxygen cylinder immediately as currently corona patients are under treatment in the hospital.

Police were called by hospital administrators as residents of the society gathered late at night and raised their issues aggressively. The team reached the spot and controlled the situation in time.
