Murder case of a 30-year-old cracked by Police in 48 hours

30-year-old, Atul Thakore, a driver by profession was found at Sevasi village on Saturday night. The Rural Local Crime Branch on Monday arrested two – Sachin Parmar and Sagar Parmar.

According to the Police, Sachin was in a serious relationship with Thakore’s wife Riddhi for past two years, while Thakore was unaware of it. Riddhi used to tell Sachin that her husband was violent and used to beat her often. Enraged with this, Sachin teamed up with his friend Sagar and a plan was hatched to murder Thakore on Saturday evening.

The duo planted two iron pipes at the spot where they had decided to murder him. On the afternoon of the murder, Sachin planned a long drive with Thakore. Thakore took his four-wheeler and picked up the duo and they took him to the spot and started beating him. Sachin used the iron pipe to hit Thakore, while Sagar stabbed him with a pocket knife. Before disposing of his body in the bushes, they removed a gold chain, two rings worth Rs 2.25 lakhs and fled in his car.

Passer-by spotted the body on Saturday night and informed the Police. Meanwhile, Thakore’s family were already searching for him. They identified his body, following which a murder case was filed at the Taluka Police Station.

During the investigation it was revealed that Thakore’s wife had an affair with Sachin. During interrogation, Sachin confessed to have committed the murder. The police said that prima facie, they did not find Riddhi’s involvement in the crime.
