Legal seminar on Cyber Crime and Investigation was held in Vadodara today

A joint legal seminar was organized by the office of the Director of Prosecution for all the District Headquarters, District Government Prosecutors, and District Police Officers on Gandhi Jayanti day as part of which a Legal Seminar on Cyber ​​Crime and Investigation was also held in Vadodara.

The seminar was organized in Vadodara jointly by the Law and Home Department, District Public Prosecutor, and Police Commissioner’s Office in presence of Additional District and Sessions Judge R.T. Panchal, Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Meghani, and District Superintendent of Police Dr. Sudhir Desai.

Additional District and Sessions Judge R. T. Panchal said that the seminar will enhance coordination between all the district government prosecutors and district police officers in the district and will lead to significant progress in the prosecution work. He gave details including examples of cybercrime cases.

District Public Prosecutor Anil Desai said that the program was organized by these government agencies to provide easy, quick, and affordable justice to all sections of society.

He added that the seminar was organized to address the shortcomings of investigation and prosecution and increase the conviction rate and expeditious disposal of cases. This legal seminar will establish stronger coordination between the District Government Advocate and the District Police Officers. This will be the first step towards cultivating a uniform and broad understanding of the subject of prosecution among public prosecutors and police officers.

Arkkumar Patel of DFS Gandhinagar gave detailed information about cybercrime through a PowerPoint demonstration. Experts present there also provide guidance to prevent cyber crimes from happening. The seminar was attended by top officials, all the government prosecutors, and police sub-inspectors of the district.
