Each year on 21st October, India honors the sacrifices of the ten police officers who were martyred under Chinese fire in 1959. Vadodara Police also paid tribute to the brave police officers who died in the line of duty on Thursday at Pratapnagar Headquarters.

The martyr police officers received a guard of honor, and their families were presented with shawls and certificates by the Police Commissioner.

A road, school, or lane in the respective hometown, will be named after the officers, as a tribute to their sacrifice.

“The force honored the jawans who lost their lives in the line of duty on Police Memorial Day and their families. We are naming a road, lane, or school after the village martyrs. Their portrait and professional background will also be displayed at the school where they studied, “Shamsher Singh remarked.
