Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt requested Health and Family Welfare Minister for the multi-specialty hospitals

On 14th December, during the zero hours of the Lok Sabha’s winter session, Ranjanben Bhatt, MP, Vadodara, requested Mansukhbhai Mandvi, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, to start a Multi-Specialty Hospital in Vadodara city, Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency, and an ESI Hospital in Savli Assembly.

In the presentation, MP Ranjanben Bhatt stated that Vadodara is an important destination in Central Gujarat, with people coming from several adjacent regions for treatment.

People from Vadodara and the surrounding regions must travel to Ahmedabad for treatment due to a lack of facilities for other procedures such as kidney transplants in two large hospitals, SSG and GMERS. For the sake of people’s convenience, she advocated the construction of a multispecialty hospital in the city.

In the Savli Assembly of the Vadodara Lok Sabha, she also requested an ESI hospital. She claims that over 35000 people work at the large GIDC in Manjusar and that they all have to travel to Vadodara for medical treatment. If an ESI hospital is established in Savli, treatment will be limited to that location.
