Good Governance Week Program, Vadodara: Mayor and other leaders seen without masks

During his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged everyone to be more cautious and take Covid 19 precautions in light of the growing Omicron variant instances in India.

The state government authorities, on the other hand, appear to be taking it lightly. Political figures, including the Mayor, were seen on stage without masks at the ‘Good Governance Week’ program in Vadodara. The majority of those attending the event are not wearing masks.

At the Good Governance Week program held at Pandit DeenDayal Auditorium on Ajwa Road in the city, Gujarat state Women and Child Welfare Minister Manisha Vakil unveiled the women’s assistance portal and mobile app.

Aside from HRMS 2.0, Toll-Free Number, Supporting Supervision Mobile App, Mata Yashoda Award Portal, and Anganwadi Center, a groundbreaking ceremony was also held.

Mayor Keyur Rokadia, MLAs Shailesh Mehta, Seema Mohile, and others, as well as Councilors, BJP leaders, and District Panchayat officials, attended the event.

However, at the state-level Good Governance Week function, most of the political officials, including the Mayor, were observed sitting without the mask. Furthermore, the majority of those who attended the event did so without wearing masks.
