A review by the Chief Secretary via video conference with top officials of cities and districts of the state was conducted and a special action plan is being made to control the COVID-19 situation in the districts. Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar provided guidance on intensive planning, prioritizing tracking-testing, and vaccination operations in the state to control COVID-19.
The Chief Secretary directed the Municipal Commissioners and District Collectors in the cities to play a proactive role in preventing the transmission of COVID-19 to potential cases in the containment areas. He also instructed to follow the Covid protocol, monitor the micro containment zone, OPD cases on a daily basis, coordinate with private hospitals and IMA regarding fever, cough cases, prepare a special action plan for Covid control and make necessary arrangements.
The Chief Secretary instructed to monitor the Dhanvantari Rath and Sanjeev’s Rath on a daily basis and also to review the preparations made by the districts in the hospitals. He monitored the cases in the state on a daily basis for the last one week and instructed them to make necessary arrangements in this regard by providing detailed information on how to prepare for zero casualties and what to do if the cases increase in the coming days.
