The Gujarat High Court has quashed the complaint registered against actor Shah Rukh Khan, find out what the case was in Ahmedabad

The Gujarat High Court quashed the complaint against Shah Rukh Khan. In the year 2017, Shah Rukh Khan stayed for a while at Vadodara railway station for the promotion of Raees film. At that time, one person was killed in a stampede at the Vadodara railway station.

Shahrukh Khan was accused of irresponsible behavior, a complaint was lodged against Shahrukh Khan after the incident at Vadodara railway station. A complaint was lodged at the railway station alleging that the cause of death was Shah Rukh Khan’s irresponsible behavior. After the complaint was registered, Shah Rukh Khan filed a petition seeking a quashing of the complaint. The High Court has allowed Shah Rukh Khan’s plea and dismissed the complaint against him.

The proceedings were initiated against him in 2017 because of a stampede caused at the Vadodara Railway Station during the promotion of his film Raees. A man suffered a heart attack during the stampede and died in a hospital. Because of this incident, a case was filed against Shah Rukh Khan for endangering the life or personal safety of others to which Shah Rukh Khan had approached the high court to quash the complaint.

The alleged incidents happened as a result of the culmination of many causes of which one of the causes may have been the act on part of the petitioner of having thrown ‘smiley balls’ and ‘T-shirts in the crowd, it said.

Out of thousands of persons present in the Railway Station on the date of the incident including police personnel and railway staff, none of the persons who might have been injured on account of the incident or even witnessed the incident had complained about the same hence the case was quashed.
