Two students from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda have brought honour to the university after winning medals in the recently conducted state-level wrestling championship in Devgadh Baria.
Pradad Sanjit and Ganga Prasad Kushwah, both second-year Commerce students, won medals in various weight categories to acknowledge their attendance in the tournament. Pradad was chosen for the Junior National Championship after earning gold in his division.
Pradad Sanjit, a second-year Commerce student, earned a gold medal and was selected for the Junior National Championship in the 63 kg Boys U 20 category in the State Wrestling Championship 2022-23, which was held on January 18, 2023, at Devgadh Baria. In the same competition, Ganga Prasad Kushwah, a second-year student in the Faculty of Commerce, earned a Silver medal in the 57 kg Boys U 20 division.
