A total of eight new buses have been allocated by the state government to the Vadodara state transport division. Two sleeper coaches and six luxury buses have been deployed on various routes. Among them, the luxury bus service on the route from Vadodara to Ambaji was launched.
Sleeper coach buses are placed on:
- Padra-Somnath-Padra
- Chota Udepur-Ambaji-Chota Udepur
- Vadodara-Ambaji-Vadodara
- Vadodara-Modasa-Vadodara
- Padra-Ambaji-Padra
The bus facilities are for ease and comfort travel of passengers. A total of seven depots and eight control points are currently functioning under the Vadodara state transport division. It has a total of 370 vehicles and 335 scheduled buses. In this schedule, a total of 1988 trips are made per day, 165166 kilometres of buses are operated per day. It covers a total of 681 villages.
Currently the average daily income is Rs. 34.10 lakhs. The number of daily passenger pass holders by ST is 4029 and student pass holders are 13693. The state transport officials were also present on the occasion of the departure of this bus trip allocated by the state government.
