Two thieves caught stealing copper wires from abandoned Diamond Power industry

Two thieves were caught yesterday red-handed for stealing copper wires from now abandoned industry called Diamond Power. The encounter was carried out by a security firm, Tiger Security.

It is speculated that they were a group of 10-to 12 people who used to sneak inside the factory to steal the copper wires and had been doing so for quite some time. They used to peddle from Padra to their place of thievery in Diamond Power at Savli Taluka

Tiger Security had been trying to nab them by setting up several attempts of trap. For the first two days, they intended to observe the modus operandi but unfortunately, the group didn’t turn up at the spot. On the third day, they saw four men entering the factory with stealth through a small gap situated at the height They had climbed railing rod several feats above the ground level.
On landing inside the factory which was pitch dark due to no electricity, Tiger Security personnel already waiting inside to encounter nabbed two men into their clutches while other two fled from the spot.

The duo is now being produced before the court for further procedures.

Diamond Powers is closed since April 2018 and is spread on 44 acres of land. It used to manufacture industrial cables.
