Launching of “Surksha Sutra” and training program for Anganwadi workers about “samajh Sparsh ki” (good touch and bad touch awareness)
In continuation to the campaign titled ‘Samajh Sparsh Ki’ to aware the children and the parents about Good and Bad touch.
Vadodara Police started this campaign to fight sexual harassment towards children. The aim is to make the children aware about difference between Good and bad touch.
Under this project different teams visited schools for awareness programs reaching out thousands of students cross vadodara city. With this experience, to further deepen impact on society, a learning tool for children was made which is named as “Suraksha Sutra”. In “Suraksha Sutra” cards educating videos are used which can be accessed through QR code printed on the cards .
Objective is reach the wider audience and spread the message more effectively to the children and parents. Vadodara Police has trained 400 Anganwadi workers in this subject so that message can reach out to more and more children parents and mothers. “Surksha sutra” launched by Anupam singh Gahlaut IPS (commissioner of police vadodara city) and Dr. Jigisha ben seth Mayor vadodara And other senior officials
