Revamping of Vadodara Railway Station has started

The redevelopment of the Vadodara Railway Station, which is a project costing has 17.99 crore has started which include making a creative facade.

This includes the artistic beautification of the entry and exit gates of the station with granite flooring and false ceilings has started.

The foundation stone was laid by Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi with Vadodara MP Rajan Bhatt and divisional railway manager of Vadodara railway division Devendra Kumar in November 2018. The project will be carried out in two phases which will include a food court, display of local art of Vadodara with selfie points for the commuters.

A newly constructed ladies room which was a part of the project was already inaugurated in November 2018. The room has proper sanitation facilities for women and the room is decorated with modern interiors.
