Vadodara’s cops have taken the baton of wiping out the intoxication caused by drugs in the city.
After conducting a mega raid and nabbing medical store and paan parlour owners for selling unprescribed medicinal syrups, Vadodara Crime Branch along with Food Safety Officials checked various stalls and food parlours near educational hubs of the city. M S University, Tejas School Ellora Park, Shreyas High School Manjalpur, Jay Ambe High School Makarpura, Bright School Karelibaug, Jay Ambe High School Amit Nagar, Maharani Shantidevi School Dandia Bazaar, Baroda High School Danteshwar were the various places where the inspection was conducted.
The inspection was conducted to check whether intoxicating substances were sold at these places and 21 samples have been collected for further checking.
Along with food safety officials and the police, a sniffer dog, Sonu, also assisted the inspection.
