Rs 36 Lakhs to be spent to increase security at Navlakhi ground

As per the information received from Police Commissioner of Vadodara, after the current petrifying event at Navlakhi ground, VMC and city police has taken immediate action of increasing the security in and around the ground. Even though the ground is a private property, permissions have been received to do the needful from the owners. Security items like high mast lights and CCTv cameras will be installed in and around the ground area. A road will be created wide enough for a car to pass so that regular patrolling can be done inside the ground. There are sense bushes in the ground which are home to lot of snakes and crocodile nests which will be removed to create bigger space. All this work is expected to be done in coming 2 to 3 months.
