2 suspicious cases of COVID-19 in Vadodara, results awaited

Everyone around the world is in a state of panic and is constantly updated about the novel coronavirus epidemic and it comes as no surprise that a few hours back Vadodara’s Sir Sayajirao General Hospital (SSGH) had two suspected cases for COVID-19 which created panic amongst the public.
An elderly man, aged 65 years, a resident of Karjan was visiting U.S.A and after returning he had cold and fever. Due to awareness of the virus, the family members pushed him to get himself checked. He has been admitted to SSGH and his samples have been sent to the laboratory to be tested. The reports are awaited.
Another patient is a Chinese woman who works in a private company was admitted to SSGH for having a fever. Her husband who stays with his wife and works in the same company. After an update, it came to light that he had recently traveled to Delhi and Agra for work purpose. After he came back, his wife fell sick and had a fever. The company as a preventive measure sent her to the hospital. She has been admitted to the isolation ward too. The reports of her samples are awaited.
The isolation ward for suspicious cases is being handled by a team of a Pediatrician, a Physician, an Anaesthetist, and five nurses.
Within twenty-four hours, SSG Hospital has witnessed 14 cases of check-ups as a preventive measure. These people are from Dubai, Germany, South America, Kuwait, Punjab, Mumbai, Bangalore who have been scanned as of yet.
