A 50-year-old woman, a resident of Tarak bungalows on Sevasi-Bhayli road was made unconscious at 2:30 am. The couple who was working there as helpers threatened to kill her and took Rs. 4 lakh cash, gold chain, ring, necklace from the house. While fleeing from the house they also took the two-wheeler.
The Nepali couple named Jagat Bahadur Shahi and his wife Laxmi Jagat Adhikari were working as helpers at the woman’s house. They planned to make the woman, the security guard, and the dog unconscious and fled with all the wealth.
A complaint has been registered by the police and an investigation has been started. The police team has released images of the couple and a search operation to catch the robbers has been initiated.
