Vehicle owners created a big uproar at the RTO in Vadodara over the closure of office on Saturday. They reached there after registering online and get an appointment to get a driving license.
An online system is running at RTO at Darjipura in Vadodara city, where people have to register online and take appointment to get their license. However, on Saturday the vehicle owners arrived at the RTO as per their appointment had to return because of holiday at RTO. This irked the vehicle owners.
One of the vehicle owner who arrived on time said that she had registered online for the two-wheeler license and appointment was given on 29th May, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am. She took half day off from her job and came for a driving test to get her license issued. But, after coming to the RTO, they were informed that there will be no driving test as it is Saturday and today’s appointment will be rescheduled.
She further added that while they are being advised not to go out of the house in Corona epidemic by the government and on the other hand the RTO’s mismanagement is putting people’s lives in danger. About 200 people were given appointments for driving test on Saturday and if its a holiday than how and why was the appointment booked.
As per a available details, RTO had to face problems due to a glitch in the online system.
