Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Tejas Express to begin operations from 19th Jan’20

The Ministry of Railways has approved the proposed run of Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Tejas Express on 17th Jan’20. It will commercially start operating on 19th Jan’20.

The train is said to run back and forth for 6 days a week. The train is expected to start from Ahmedabad at 6:40 am and will reach Mumbai Central at 1:10 pm. It will return from Mumbai Central at 3:40 pm and will reach Ahmedabad at 9:55 pm. The train is said to have the following stops – Ahmedabad (source), Nadiad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Borivali, Mumbai Central (end).

The Tejas Express is deemed as India’s first fully air-conditioned privately-managed train comprising of AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car Coaches. It is decked with premium amenities such has meals, RO water, infotainment services, automatic entry and exit doors, and on-board hospitality and security staff.
