With the launch of its Aviation Management Institute, and having the youth icon Janki Bodiwala as an ambassador, this Vadodara city-based Institute recently held and organized an Airport Landing Arena Exhibition. Parul University launched its Aviation Institute with the goal and objective of furthering quality Aviation Education.
With such a youthful personality aboard the Institute’s agenda for spreading excellence and quality in education, the University has been employing such youth engaging innovative practices in its learning processes and has been extensively engaging the young minds for this purpose. The recently organized exhibition saw the budding young minds of students from over 50 schools coming together to showcase their innovative skills in reimagining aviation.
‘Airport Landing Arena’ witnessed over 150 participants from 50+ schools where the participants had to design unique airports with their creativity and by using their materials. The innovation behind putting together such a platform came together through the joint efforts of the University’s Technical Events Cell and Department of Aviation Management. Parul University’s Aviation curriculum is composed of 70% practical training and this exhibition was one amongst such student training-based platforms.
The platforms featured novel and highly unique conceptions of these young budding students brought innovative solutions across multiple sectors of the Aviation industry. One of the projects exhibited included a passenger convenience system that employed significant innovations and practical methods in developing these concepts. Another project of highlight which was exhibited during this platform also included an “a circular airport concept” which was designed to save fuel and reduce the noise pollution caused by aircraft during the takeoff and landing procedures. The winning teams were felicitated by the University’s President for their efforts in developing such effective platforms and creating such innovative airport solutions.
The purpose of this event was specifically to find creativity among the students about aviation landing management. The event brought the imaginative skills of the participants to life. Numerous unique airports with a useful and solution-based purpose behind them were created by the participants. “I am delighted to see the efforts of so many young and bright minds in developing such unique concepts and projects to revolutionize our Aviation Industry. I am confident that through such platforms we will be surely able to further the future scope of aviation education in our nation”, said the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. M.N Patel.
