Akshayapatra Foundation Vadodara launches six vehicles to deliver nutritious meals to primary schools with support from GSECL

The Akshayapatra Foundation Vadodara has launched six vehicles to deliver clean and nutritious meals to primary school children in the entire Vadodara district under the nutrition scheme of the Central and State Governments. The foundation delivers food to all schools in the state, including Vadodara city and district, and the timely delivery of food to every school is made possible with the help of these vehicles.

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd. (GSECL) donated the six vehicles to the Akshayapatra Foundation organization to provide food support through their Corporate Social Responsibility Fund. During the handover ceremony, GSECL’s MD Bajwa was present and handed over the vehicles to the administrators of Akshayapatra Foundation.

The administrators of Akshayapatra Foundation gave a detailed understanding of how the food reaches the children from preparation to distribution. These food supply vehicles were found in Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, and Bhuj, and a total of six vehicles were handed over to the Akshayapatra Foundation by MD Bajwa after performing the ritual puja.

Shri Rayaram Prabhu, Gujarat Region Vice President of Akshayapatra Foundation, Sudhir Singh, Bhaveen Chauhan, and the entire staff of Akshayapatra Foundation Vadodara were present during the occasion and made it a success. The launch of these vehicles is expected to help the foundation in delivering nutritious meals to primary school children on time and with ease.
