All school/college buses and vans should have CCTV cameras and GPS: Vadodara Police

Vadodara City Police Commissioner Anupamsinh Ghelot has issued public circular directing vehicle owners of schools and college students transportation to install CCTV cameras and give its live feed to the school management and parents with location details.

Two days back a 17-year-old boy was detained in Vadodara for physically abusing three kindergarten going girls in the school van

Recently such few incidents have been reported regarding school van drivers, this decision is taken to ensure the safety of all children. This will help us to document the evidence if needed, said Police Commissioner

Strict actions will be taken against any drivers who fail to comply with this notification and even the school management has to ensure to implementation of this notification.
