Vadodara PCB team caught a bogus doctor practicing for the last 20 years in Sankarda village that falls under Nandesari police station. The accused don’t have any valid medical degree and practicing as an allopathy doctor in the area.
The PCB team received information about a bogus doctor named Dr. K.H. Khan is practicing in Sankarda village without any valid medical degree. He even prescribed allopathy medicines to the people of the area.
Based on that the team along with the doctor from Sankarda PHC raided the spot and found the bogus doctor K.H. Khan, a resident in the Gorwa area and originally from UP sitting inside the clinic. No valid medical certificate was found by the team and the bogus doctor is booked under various sections of IPC including The Indian Medical Council Act and The Gujarat Medical Practitioner Act. During the search, the team found a prescription book, medical certificate book, standard company allopathy medicines, sterilized injection bottles, use and throw syringes.
Further investigation revealed that the accused had studied till 12th standard and has been practicing in the guise of a Bachelor of Medicinal Herbenial Science degree from The Indian Board of Alternative medicine Kolkata. He was practicing for the last 20 years in the area and running the clinic for the last five years in the present location.
