Assembly Elections Updates: BJP has formed a 14 member state election committee. The committee consists of four ministers from Rupani’s government, Shri Vijay Rupani, Shri Nitin Patel, Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, and Shri Jaswant Singh Bhabhor. Along with that, 12 core group members have been announced. Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel is a member of both committees.
In addition, a panel of the Parliamentary Board will be set +to decide the tickets of candidates from Gujarat in the forthcoming Assembly elections. The names of the candidates decided by this panel after a process are sent to the Central Parliamentary Board. After that, the ticket of the candidate in BJP will be finalized. The BJP has also announced a four-member disciplinary committee.
