Banks to be closed for 14 days in the forthcoming festive days

September marks the official start of the upcoming festival time in the country, and with that we see a lot of public on the streets and malls purchasing items for the festivities.

However, this year, banks will be closed for 14 days out of 34 days with intervals from 26^th Sept’19 to 29^th Oct’19. Nonetheless, banks will be closed for 4 days straight in September and October.

To ensure a pleasant festive season and avoid standing in long queues outside ATMs, it is advisable to clear all bank related work before the aforementioned dates as banks and ATMs may witness congestions.

When will be the banks stay closed?

• 28 Sept – 4^th Saturday
• 29^th Sept- Sunday
• 2^nd Oct – Gandhi Jayanti
• 6^th Oct – Sunday
• 8^th Oct – Dusshera

• 13^th Oct – Sunday
• 20^th Oct – Sunday
