Baroda Dairy issue still ‘unresolved’ as MLA Ketan Inamdar threatened to reach the dairy with district’s milk producers

Savli MLA Ketan Inamdar has once again revolted against the Baroda Dairy authorities on behalf of the district’s milk producers and threatened to reach Baroda Dairy on Thursday with the entire district’s milk producers if the price is not changed by Wednesday night.

MLA Ketan Inamdar said that after assurance the rates have not increased as desired and threatened to reach the Dairy if the issue is not resolved.

Waghodia MLA Madhu Srivastava reached the Circuit House and extended his support to the issue of milk producers. “It’s the question of benefit of the milk producers as they did not get the amount they desired for the milk. I came here for the meeting and the focus is on milk producer’s interest, ” said Srivastava.

Dabhoi MLA Shailesh Mehta too reached Circuit House in support of the voice raised by Ketan Inamdar. He said, “An assurance was given by the Dairy Administration about giving the best amount of price to the milk producers. However, at the 15th general meeting, the commitment was unfulfilled and hence they gathered there for the interest of milk producers. We will decide the further course of action as they are our voters and I feel the matter shall be resolved”.

As no settlement was reached in the meeting MLA Ketan Inamdar will move ahead with the Halla bol program at Baroda dairy on Thursday. He said the fight would continue till a solution is found and tents would be pitched in front of Baroda Dairy from Thursday.

He along with Karjan MLA Akshay Patel reached Baroda Dairy for the meeting and solution for the issue. However, no settlement was reached and Ketan Inamdar walked out of the meeting and threatened to continue with the Halla bol on Thursday. He said, “On Thursday milk producers from Vadodara and Chhota Udepur districts will reach Baroda Dairy for Halla Bol. He will continue to sit there till there is a solution.

On the other hand, Dinesh Patel, Chairman of Baroda Dairy, said, as per rules they gave the price to the milk producers.
