Members of the Baroda Media Association conducted a demonstration to demand justice in the investigation of the murder of Chirag Patel, the 26-year-old copy editor with TV9 Ahmedabad.

Members marched from the City Information Centre to the Collector’s Office in protest to appeal to the district collector to fast track the proceedings of the case.

Chirag Patel left his home on March 15 and his charred remains were found in an empty plot near a chemical factory in Kathwada village, Ahmedabad. The police are still investigating the reason behind the murder.
