Local villagers saw a body in a puddle of water filled with bushes on the way to Dena village from Dumad. There was a heavy stench in the air and the locals were shocked to see a body lying face down. Immediately, the incident was reported to the Taluka Police. The team rushed to the spot with the team and with senior police. With the help of locals, the corpse was called out of the water and an investigation began.
According to police sources, the number of injuries has been found on the body. The man appears to be 35 years old. The body has been sent to the Sir Sayaji General Hospital for postmortem to find out the exact cause of death. Police have also sought help from FSL to find out the kind of marks of injury on the body and time of death.
Currently, the police are conducting a search to identify the youth. The District Police has sought information about the missing youths between the ages of 35 and 40 from Vadodara city as well as various police stations of the district police. Police have registered a case of accidental death and initiated the action.
