Chai Chats is a platform for Indian diaspora staying US and Canada to connect based on their native city in India. We have framed these guidelines for pleasant experience for our users
on out platform, so if you find content that shouldn’t be on Chai Chats, please report it to us here. Based on your feedback and reports we will keep improving the platform to encourage
respectful conversation.
According to the UN Migration Report, there are 17.5 million Indian expats — the largest group of people who live outside their home country! Launch of this app is great news for those
who want to connect with other Indian expats when living abroad.
No matter where you are in the world, as an Indian expat, you will most likely have a mix of experiences — from the excitement and novelty of learning a new culture of your adopted
country to struggling with the inevitable cultural shock, with or without a language barrier.So, you may find it comforting to meet other Indian expats who can share relevant information
with you like where to celebrate Diwali, or at least where you can find good Indian food.

The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren’t using the services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection. If you decline

Our services are restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit users under the age of 18 on our platform and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from anyone under the age of 18.
If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available through the service.
Content Policy:
We strictly do not allow antagonistic, explicit, false or misleading, harmful, hateful, or violent content or behavior on Chai Chats. We have a dedicated team to
continuously monitor the content and even based on the reported content by users. We may remove, limit, or block the distribution of such content and the
accounts within 24 hours without prior notice.
What kind of content is prohibited?

Adult, explicit content, nudity, fetish images
Hateful speech, prevocational speech, slur, racial content, terrorism
Any unverified news, tips, medical information, Conspiracy theories, manipulated content.
Bully, harassments, sexual remarks
Private information, information related to national security
Impersonating accounts, spam accounts
Spamming is not permitted on Chai Chat. Spamming is defined as the following actions performed on a mass scale which includes, but is not limited to:
Making comments
sending personal message.
Taking part in these actions on a large scale will result in moderation action.
How to report content or account?
If you find any content which you believe is violating our community guidelines or is not suitable for platform, please report those content by 'long press' on that content and then click 'report'. Our moderation team will take necessary action within 24hours.
How to block an account?
If you believe a user has violated our guidelines please block them and report this violation to our support team by clicking 'block' button.
