Election time is here and since this is one of the landmark elections of India, everyone is doing their bit to spread awareness about the importance of casting your vote for the Lok Sabha elections.
45-year-old Vijay Andharikar has taken to wearing a cardboard placard on his way to work on his bike to promote election awareness.
Here’s the cardboard placard that he wears on his way to work:
Vijay says he has been wearing it since 2nd April when he talked about spreading voting awareness at a family function and thought of the idea. Other than asking workers at his office and his friends and family to vote, he thought of this innovative concept of wearing this placard. Since then, two-three people have stopped him on the road and told him to keep up the good work and many people have given him a thumbs up for his efforts to spread voting awareness.
Vijay works as a designer in Associated Power Structures Pvt Ltd and you can see him driving around with the placard from his route to his office from Sandip bazar to Makar Pura GIDC.
