CM Dashboard: A portal which connects Chief Minister with the Citizens, discussed with Chief Secretary of Kerela

The Chief Minister of Gujarat held a meeting with VP Joy, Chief Secretary to the Government of Kerala, for the CM-Dashboard connecting CM to CITIZEN at CM’s residence in Gandhinagar. He got acquainted with the full details of the CM Dashboard. Mr. Kailasanathan, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and the Secretary explained to him the features of the CM Dashboard and the comprehensive procedure. Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Kumar was also present on the occasion.


The Chief Secretary of Kerala lauded the initiative developed by Gujarat using state-of-the-art technology in the field of full real-time monitoring. He said that this method of monitoring the various government services available to the people and getting the feedback of the beneficiaries is the leading direction of good governance. The Chief Secretary of Kerela V.P. Joy said that following the suggestion of PM Modi to study the initiative taken by Gujarat for transparent as well as real-time monitoring of public delivery services system and public interest schemes, he has come to get acquainted with the CM-Dashboard with senior officials of Kerala.


Given the details of this innovative initiative of CM-Dashboard to the Kerala delegation, it was informed that all the basic facilities like benefits of the public welfare scheme, ST, light, and water are easily available through 24 government departments and district-taluka level offices in the state. Real-time monitoring can be done from Gandhinagar through CM-Dashboard.


All the districts of Gujarat and all the different administrative departments and their schemes are monitored on a single-window platform by 5,200 predefined indicators. It is from this platform that the Chief Minister continuously monitors the administrative functions of all the important officers of the state. Not only that, during the pandemic, complete details about hospital beds, oxygen supply, availability of medicines, etc. could be obtained through the video wall of this dashboard. The Chief Secretary of Kerala expressed keen interest in getting to know all the details and also appreciated the working method of the beneficiary feedback system.
