After the tragic tragedy of Surat fire accident, VMSS issued a circular to all educational institutes to keep classes shut till No Objection Certificate is obtained from the Fire Safety Department.
After the incident took place, the VMSS fire department team had started checking the tuition classes for fire safety. Different teams were made during the drive. 112 Coaching classes are sealed and their electricity connection was disconnected.
Thorough checking will also be done at Hospitals and Commercial complexes. To obtain NOC- forms will be available at the Fire department which is above City Command and Control Centre at Badamdibugh. A form will have all the list to required equipment and safety measures to be taken. After the inspection of premises by Fire Safety officer NOC will be granted.
